Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was a U.S. Olympic captain for the team that has won gold medals in 2012. Aly Raisman has six Olympic medals and two World Championships gold medals. Aly born in Massachusetts was captivated by gymnastics when she was 18 months old, after she participated in a mommy and Me class. Aly has been an active advocate of body positive and is also an advocate and a leader in the gym. She recently spoke out on Larry Nassar's sentencing. Aly was born on the 24th of April, 1994. Aly Raisman started gymnastics at an early age and also helped her U.S. gymnastics team win the 2011 World Championships. Aly Raisman won two medals during 2012 at the London Summer Olympics One to the team and one in the floor exercise. Raisman took silver both in the individual and floor finals of the 2016 Olympics in Rio. She also took home the gold medal from the competition for team gymnastics. Raisman confessed in 2017 she was sexually abused by team doctor Larry Nassar. The following year, she brought suit with USA Gymnastics as well as the U.S. Olympic Committee.
